This is TOTALLY left field for us.
There’s a Artest-o-Rama going on, with his wife on Basketball Wives LA and now with him on DWTS.
This may or may not be amusing, but due to the lock out, Ron obviously has time on his hands- so why not?
There is some meaning behind him taking part in the show. He plans on donating all of the money for research, as his (now) 8 year old daughter battled cancer at the age of 4.
Artest tells People:
“At first it was not appealing,” Artest confesses. “I did not want to do it. I don’t dance and all of the dressing up and everything, but my daughter Diamond was like, Daddy, you should do it.”
