The rumors have been confirmed. Rihanna is teaming up with MAC and they are releasing her line called “RiRi [Hearts]“. There will be 4 releases, and each are centered around a red lipstick, a play on MAC’s Ruby Woo, but for Ri it’s RiRi Woo. The first collection will hit in May, coinciding with Rihanna’s concert tour which takes place at the Barclay center in May. The second collection will debut in summer, the third in fall, and the fourth will be a special holiday line arriving in December. Will you be making any contributions to Ri’s pockets?
Lanvin has released their Pre-Fall 2012 Collection! Designer Alber Elbaz moved in a new, fresh, modern direction. The collection still has the Lanvin opulence, but it also featured a progressive, ladylike vibe. According to Style.com, Alber Elbaz explained the new direction by saying, “This collection is about new fabrics, new technologies and new volumes.”
De la Renta shows us a series of mini themes from his new collection! He shows us a lot of prints, patterns and textures and a diverse spectrum of colors. The show started with black and white polka dot and graphic print smart pencil skirts with three-quarter sleeve jackets. Then it transitioned into houndstooth quilted coats, followed by a gray plaid and oxblood leather series of knee-length pleated skirts, wool outerwear and chic dresses. The show ended off with a colorful blast of purple, green and blue floral and graphic print long-sleeved dresses, knitted jackets, classic trench coats and ladylike skirts.
News Flash : Supreme will be releasing five new t-shirt designs this week. The group will include two Tees from film Director David Lynch. Mr Lynch is an artist and the Director of such films as Eraserhead, Blue Velvet, and Mulhulland Drive, amongst many others. Included in the group is a drawing from Mr. Lynch, as well as a still from the film Blue Velvet.
